I finished my homework yay! I had to do heaps of review questions because I have a test on wednesday. If I pass, which I think I will because Fran is really good at getting things to sink in, I'll get to do the rabbit prac where we anaesthetise a rabbit and monitor it throughout. The only problem is that I'll have to do it with one of the full time classes because the night I'm supposed to do it I'm going to see nine inch nails. Less than two weeks now.
I have a job interview on tuesday at the baker heart research institute for a service porter position. That means cleaning cages and ordering chemicals and stuff like that. Its starting at the bottom but its a foot in the door. I also might be able to get some work at Deakin University because they're looking for casuals at the moment. Because I'm not experienced with mice I probably won't get that position but Maree said that they would probably put me on as work experience and see how I do and then I would get a chance at a casual position. Its another foot in the door at least as long as I get accepted.
I've met a kindred spirit. Corie's friend Mimmo's girlfriend Bella is just like me. Scary, I know. Well she's not exactly like me but we do think the same and have the same mental problems. It was weird cos I was talking to her the other day and I'd only met her two times before that but she confided all this personnel stuff to me. I guess we just clicked cos I find her really easy to talk to. She is such a nice girl, I really hope things work out for her. Well I gotta go clean up after my baby girl so thats it from me.
